MMR Construction, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, relied on outdated processes managed through paper forms and Excel sheets.
This reliance on legacy systems led to significant challenges: project delays, payroll inaccuracies, material waste, disputes over timesheets, and no reliable inventory of tools. Departments operated in silos, with little visibility into budgets or project allocations, making operations inefficient and error-prone.

To understand the root of the problem, I conducted user interviews, remote shadowing sessions, and stakeholder workshops. Complementary desk research and competitor analysis helped frame potential opportunities.




Product Design
When I joined the project, some initial screens had already been delivered, but the lack of a cohesive style guide made scaling impossible. I created a design system to unify the product’s look and feel, ensuring consistency across departments as the project expanded.
